"Demon Bound"
SNAPSHOTS
One of my earlier art compositions from 2020 when I started to expand beyond simple gradient backgrounds, and decided to show subtle glimpses of a character’s backstory through what I imagined to be a daily snapshot of their lives.
The inspiration behind this was the film Zootopia. I thought “an animal city where they live similar lives to our human society, but a bit different, is a fun concept. What if instead of animals we have demons?”

A FEELING
An artwork from 2023, designed to make the viewer feel small, just like the main character in this piece.
The colours are kept bright to keep interest, and the organic shapes used to bend the proportions of the sprawling alien city are designed to invoke a feeling of exploration and adventure.
The inspiration behind this specific composition is the show Adventure Time.

One of my more recent compositions from 2024. The realm of fantasy knows no bounds, neither does the element of magic this design shares. You’re meant to notice something new every time you look. Maybe it’s the spiralling library stairwell, or the precarious pile of books, or the fact that this fantasy character is smaller that a bookmark?
The inspiration behind this piece was to celebrate World Book Day.
